Sonshine Days PreSchool Mission Statement

Our goal as a Christian Preschool is to introduce and nurture the Christian faith in young children, to assist families in providing the best opportunities for emotional, physiological, and spiritual growth in their children, and to prepare little minds for kindergarten and beyond.

Registration & Fees

For the 2011-2012 school year, registration requirements are as follows:

  • Application & Registration Fee (non-refundable) of $50.00 per child
  • Child Information Sheet
  • Medical Consent Form
  • Proof of Immunization
  • Signed Enrollment Agreement
  • Tuition: $135.00 monthly
  • Supply Fee: $25.00 in September and $25.00 in January

School Term

The 2011-2012 school year begins in September, 2011 and ends in May, 2012.
(Exact dates to be announced)

Days of operation are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday weekly beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 12:00 p.m.

RBUMC follows the Lexington District One school calendar as well as Holiday closings and inclement weather closings. District information may be obtained by calling 359-2626.

What we are doing in our Preschool

Daily Activities to Include:

Christian Faith Learning
Preschool Education in preparation for Kindergarten
Fine Arts Exploration (Music, Dance, Visual Arts)
Learning through Play (as advocated by Lexington School District One)
